Samlink regularly organises breakfast seminars for its clients. Solid Stream has been involved for a couple of years now in making sure that the technical side of the seminar works on site - and that a high quality video recording of the event is produced for later use.

Samlink's breakfast seminars are primarily aimed at the audience on the ground. The aim is to give customers time to concentrate on the content and the encounters - without any technical adjustments.

Solid Stream has already participated in several breakfast seminars together with Samlink and Communications Office The Partnership with. Our role is to ensure that the event works technically from start to finish.

Among other things, we make sure that:

the sound is clear and adequate for the whole room
an appropriate number of microphones (e.g. headsets for speakers)
speakers are mixed in time and tested in advance
the presentations are on the right machine and are displayed correctly on the screens
a countdown clock to the start of the event and break screens will be run on the screens
ambient music in the background when there is no programme on stage

Samlink's people can focus on the content - we make sure that the technology stays discreetly in the background, but works reliably.

Live broadcast-like recording without streaming

Samlink's breakfast seminars are not livestreams. The event is held for those who come to the venue, but is also recorded on multi-camera for later use.

The implementation is technically very close to live broadcasting:

live image and sound mixing from multiple cameras
the end result is a pre-rhythmed video recording
short clips and somme clips can be cut from the same material

This model is particularly suitable for events where the audience is the main audience, but the content needs to have a longer life cycle through recordings.
